Host Your Next Celebration at
The Rickhouse

Our Venue

Once RJ Reynold's Prizery built in 1938, The Rickhouse overlooks the famed Durham Athletic Park, the original home of the Durham Bulls, in the Central Park district of downtown Durham. Nestled just a stone’s throw away from countless hotels, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and parks, The Rickhouse is steeped in Durham history.

A rickhouse is defined as a structure designed solely for storing and aging distilled spirits. Behind our beautifiul glass wall, locally-owned and female-owned distiller Liberty and Plenty craft gin, whiskey, rum, and vodka.

The Rickhouse is ideal for wedding celebrations such as: ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, and post wedding brunches. Our space is also perfectly suited for a myriad of private gatherings, such as corporate events, holiday parties, daytime seminars and luncheons, university functions, food shows, fundraisers, trade shows, and other community events.
